HealthEngine iPhone app
The app allows customers to search and book from over 11,000 practitioners, receive notifications, save personal medical information and manage medication.
I worked on several projects with the mobile team to add functionality to the app to improve the users experience. Some of these included designing medication reminders screens and its on-boarding experience, allowing search for nearby pharmacy, inbox and notifications, and home screen feature cards.

Medication Manager
Many people with medical conditions need to take multiple medications regularly. They can forget to take the right amount at the right times or forget to buy repeats in a timely manner.
Medication manager allows patients to search from a database to find their particular medication, set their dosage and time, as well as view medication notes. Reminders appear on their home screen and via notifications; tracking adherence and supply is also customisable.
By closely following apple’s human interface guidelines I designed the onboarding process, ‘all medication’ and single medication screens, a range of customisable features within edit screen, and the home screen notification cards.
Search for nearby pharmacy
When a patients medication is low and they need to find a pharmacy, where do they go?
We can track whether patients take or skip their medication, then mark that against their supply to know when they will run low. They are then notified and offered the opportunity to search for a pharmacy nearby that has their medication in stock.
Message inbox
Inbox messages for all communications from HealthEngine was a way of improving a patients engagement with their service provider. Patients can receive appointment confirmations and reminders, along with other message types in the future.
